Voice Hoarseness

Difficulty Swallowing

Sore throats almost always present symptoms that include difficulty in swallowing. The treatment approaches are the same as those associated with tonsils and voice hoarseness.

Sore Throat

Sore throats can be a symptom of many medical disorders. Including

• Infections – viral or bacterial
• Reflux
• Voice misuses or overuse
• Rhino-pharynx inflammation with post-nasal drip
• Allergy
• Irritants like to tobacoo or dust, poor air-condtioning
• Tumors

Tonsils and Adenoids/Pain

Sore throats are also a symptom of infected tonsils or infected/swollen adenoids. These are usually conditions affecting children and can be treated with antibiotics or surgery.
